Now don't get me wrong. I'm only a new photoreader so I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing the full power of photoreading.
But isn't photoreading a bit of a hit and miss affair? I myself haven't experienced spontaneuous activation (or maybe I just didn't notice) but let's say can an expert photoreader read a book on something he doesn't know about (maybe like a medical dictionary), can he/she start reciting some terms and facts the next day that he/she didn't previously know about?
(If it looks like I haven't looked in the photoreading/nat. brilliance book, that's right. I haven't been able to get copies of them in Australia yet, so I've been reading posts and articles, but my outlook is very positive. Perhaps next year when I start working and obtain a credit card.)
I have also gone through the whole process of previewing (I also tried not doing it as WW suggested), photoreading and manual activation, but it doesn't seem like I'm learning the material any better or doing better in tests - (I'm only in 3.5 weeks - am I expecting too much too quickly?)
But I have noticed that I have improved at relaxing, and visualizing. I used to be an auditory thinker, but I'm now more aligned towards visual thinking. My dreams are also more vivid, but they don't relate to the material I read and I haven't been able to decipher the meaning of it yet, which could mean I just haven't been noticing my subconscious knocking on the door and trying to tell me something.
(Sorry I'm thinking at the same time as I'm writing, so please bear with me ;-))
So this leads to another question, what makes my conscious thoughts block my subconcious thoughts trying to tell me something? It seems that I cannot do something unless I analyze it and put it into a logical perspective, and this could be blocking my intuition or preventing my "hunches" from coming through. Anyone have ideas on how to release it and allow yourself to become more in tune with your subconscious and perhaps lead to more spontaneous activation experiences? (This is also only me theorizing here so if I'm wrong, please correct me.)
And finally (phew!!) - in the test room, do you think it would be of any use to photoread the test before doing it? Any tricks/traps in the exam regarding photoreading?
Thank you for putting up with my incoherence if you have read this far ;-) and thanks in advance to all!!
