When I was skeptical I looked at the reviews of the photoreading book on Amazon.com I then emailed the people that gave the book reviews and became convinced by their responses that the system was valid.

Making the blip page as large as you can is not the goal. Some people don't even use a blip page (they just open up their peripheral vision and concentrate on the outsides of the pages). The goal is to open up your vision and if you have a blip page then you know for sure that you have succeeded in doing that.
