The bllip page is, I think, more of a marker of a particular state than anything else. Seeing the blip page means that you have diverged your eyes and are viewing each page through each eye as opposed to both eyes at once. There have been a number of successful PhotoReaders, I have heard, who have succeeded without ever seeing the blip page.

I think that those who have trouble initially getting the system to work fixate too much on the blip page, thinking that if they can "just get the PhotoFocus state right" then everything else will fall into place. My own opinion is that they are putting the emphasis in the wrong area - they should instead, I believe, be looking at ways to improve the communicationo between their inner and outer consciousness, and learning the signals that the inner mind provides when activating material that has been PhotoRead. You pick up a lot of information everyday subliminally - most of us simply don't do a very good job of accessing it.
