ckernis,
I read that article you mentioned. I wonder why he excluded Jung's philosophy of the unconscious? He & Jung were contempories.
The reason i mention this is b/c Jung made it very clear that the unconscious to be unconscious can never be made conscious. The only way for an unconscious content to recognized is thru a projection. We then see the unconscious content reflected back to us so that it can be integrated. But, even w/ the projection, we can't say that the unconscious has become conscious.
Just as we have physical instincts, we also have instincts of the psyche called archetypes. To me it is very paradoxical to speak of unconscious intelligence. People playing around w/ ideas & words using logic to make it plausible.
It's interesting reading--for sure.
For some reason i thought that the soft gaze & blip pg. had something to do w/ the brain. That's why flipping the book upside down for PhRing is worthwhile. It also took me time to get the placement of the dictionary words correctly. It had something to do w/ the brain. I'd think it was top in a certain spot & it'd be at the bottom at that same spot.
So, it was my understanding that soft gaze & the blip page has to do w/ the way the brain sees. Then when we're searching for info, we find it quickly.
