I never seem to read in a secluded or quiet
environment so can this technique be used
where it is more difficult to concnetrate?

If you've ever gotten so deeply into a book that you lost all awareness of your surroundings, you've proven that you can do it. If you're sufficiently in state, you can tune out the distractions because you've successfully narrowed your awareness to the task at hand. If you attempt to PR without getting into state (as I sometimes do), you'll find distractions easily get in the way.

I cannot think of a place where I can't PhotoRead. Of course, nothing is better than my den on a quiet evening, but any place will do.
