That's an interesting point that I hadn't considered (the liberation of realizing you didn't need to activate the book). However, I would have enjoyed a book that I WANTED to activate. It would play into the course more effectively for me.
It wasn't until I had PR'd & activated a few books that I appreciated knowing that I didn't need to activate a book. I had then developed enough confidence in the process to trust that I could drop the book.
I struggled with Hunt's book because I had no desire to activate it at all. In that sense, I didn't really go through the whole process and that would have been more helpful at the time.
