Dear all,

This is the first time posting on this forum.
I have done the Home Study course though I am running through it my second time now.

But here's a question: any tips on how to improve my writing skills? I find that I am often stuck for words, or that it takes far longer than hoped. Generally, I write essays for university and feel that I am taking too much time. I do use the syntopic reading but it hasn't worked that well for me as yet - as if the actual photoreading step did not do much to help much (finding relevant passages felt like a hit and miss affair).

Second question: what is the best way to read (and photoread) 'how to' books? I find that after doing the photoreading step (step 3) it is not much use activating by super reading and dipping since often self improvement books (such as NLP books) work like a course or seminar -- each part builds on previous knowledge.

Another thing: I have been a little disheartened by my 'less-than-spectacular' results with Photoreading, but after reading some of the previous posts am going to take it up again, and since it is holidays do 3-10 books per day. Part of the disheartening came about by not being able to see the blip page (though my sight is 20/20) and then having problems with activation. But I'm going to give it a go again, to test it out properly for a while.
