I have recently ordered the Photoreading course because I am interested in moving my computer certifications along at faster, rather lightning, speed. I have read nearly all of the post on the message boards and find the input grounding and enlightening.
I just wanted to introduce myself and see if there are any other techs out there who are finding photoreading beneficial to their career.
Pete, one last question. Conventional memory deals with a kind of assurance that I have seen the information before I just have to connect it to other information in order to formulate a full memory. With the activation step, do have a feeling that you know this already you are just trying to remember or is it spontaneous recall triggered associated circumstances. For example, if I photoread a book today and for a test on friday would I sit down at the test with the confidence of having read the material (in the conventional sense) or would the test questions serve to activate images of pages, words, or sentenses, that would ultimately lead to a correct response? Long Question huh? which leads me to another one that I have not seen addressed. That is extrapulation. Most people with photographic memories can not process the information therefore their brains are "filled" with useless information. How is photoreading different from photographic memory in that respect?
