Wayne: You spend entirely too much time worrying about the mechanics of the photofocus state and the blip page thus this will hinder your progress because the concious mind will be actively involved in the process. Just forget about the text being blurry and the blip page coming and going and get down to the process instead which is "Photoreading". Normally I wear reading glass, so when I remove them to photoread the text is blurry and never clear.
I have no problems.
