Yes, I have tried some of her recommendations. Some of very good, I think. The only real problem that I had with her book was that it can make the person trying her techniques a little self-conscious. She talks in her book about the "mind mirror" - basically, and EEG that you can purchase for about $4,000 and how you really don't know if you're getting the correct brain state without it. I found that to be in poor taste.

Another book that might be of interest for those looking to explore different modes of consciousness is Tom Kenyon's _Brain States_. It gives a lot of exercises for playing around in your own head, including the technique of Image Streaming.
