There are two feedback loops which can be used with ImageStreaming (IS): the short and the long. The short is essential for the power of IS, the long can improve the quality of your IS.

Short Feedback Loop:
You speak out loud what you perceive with your inner senses and hear it. This is the short feedback loop and it brings about the benefits of IS.

Long Feedback Loop:
If you record your Imagestream (something you should do if you're ISing alone), you can play it back, listening for how you did imagestream: Did you use all your senses? How fast did you describe? Was it more abstract or more sensory detail? Listen to your tape once consciously, noticing how you did it. Then play it back a second time. This time, you can do anything you like, it's more for your inner mind to work on the how, according to the things you noticed consciously.

But you will notice results, whether you listen to your imagestream again, or not.
