Really, I was just giving random examples of exemplary methods in random categories in order to show that their may be similarly divergent books out there on finance.

But to your issues:

"So what are you saying, rebounding or slow burn/maffetone method?"

Do you like to run or do you prefer to jump? I prefer to jump, primarily because it is fun as hell--there are numerous health reasons, but fun is #1. Others may prefer to run. I ran for 4 years in high school--this I know: RUNNING IS HARD. It's pain. It's work, even if you go slow. Jumping is pure pleasure. Jumping is a delight beyond compare! weeeee!

I can't believe something something so fun can be so bloody beneficial. It's like a Big Mac having the health properties of tofu.

As far as static contraction, the proof is in the results. I rarely heed the chatter of the establishment. I prefer to rely on my own experimentation.

There is very little information on it, for or against, to be found anywhere. The authors very much believe in their system. The change you noticed was a result of people like us experimenting. Their audience found a better way, so they reformed the technique.
