I'm doing fine -- just done my annual sentences and audio tests this week! I can't believe how good the results are - 100%/85%!!

Since I'm fairly new to phreding .. it is coming very, very slowly with the recall. I can get the blip no probs when photoreading but I'm having little success in recall. Once I managed to get a recall of "Photoreading" in my dream, and I got too excited with it that I lost the activation process!! So then, I've been told and read somewhere in this message board that lots of practice will make it happen! So I'm hoping one day for a magic moment when my efforts are finally paid off!

So you get activation working when you're at university? That's interesting - could it be the location that does the trick?

I just saw the infomercial last night and bot the book tonight. But after reading this website i have to admit that something scares me about PR. There's certainly nothing wrong about wanting to read faster. What I find scary, however, is the similarity between PR and occult like practices like channeling. As a Christian I believe that any kind of occult practices is setting up communications with the demonic world, (which is not a good thing!!!). Has anybody on this forum have the same fear? Has any one tried to use PR to read Christian literature (say Acquinas or saint Augustian) or to read the Bible? And if anyone has tried PR the Bible did they get a violently negative reaction?

I think that anything that deals with the unconcious must be approached with utmost caution (if approached at all). I did a search and this issue does not seem to be inteligently addressed. I would suspect that others may share the same concerns (particularly Christians). Perhaps this will be clarified (one way or the other) in the book.

In the last two weeks I have photoread Augustine's City of God, Aquinas' Summa Theologica, and the Old and New Testaments. My experience in Photoreading these works was no different from my experience reading Plato, or Sophocles, or Dante, or Marx, or any history books, or any self-help books.

I do my P/R at night before bed. The method has the same effect on me whether what I read is religious, philosophical, self-help, or other.

Do a search for "bible" and you should find other posts you may be interested in.

RLWilson,
You must understand that you use your subconscious all the time without knowing. For example, when I ask you what your favorite song is, you can probably come up with one. It doesn't take long to come up with something, but yet you have subconsciously sorted hundreds of songs. You couldn't do that at a conscious level. Or when you look at your mother, do don't have to think very long at all to recognize who she is, but yet you processed a tremendous amount of information at a subconscious level to distinguish her from hundreds of other people. Nothing scary or occult about it, with PR you just learn a technique to memorize and process information with more of your subconscious, which is quite powerful. As a matter of fact, when you are praying, you are in so called alpha state (daydream state), which is a very healthy and relaxing.
