Yea gads.

We trade our list with NeoTech for a one-time mailing. In return, we mailed to their customers about PhotoReading.

We'll trade (and sometimes rent, although mostly trade) our list when the offer is something we think our customers might like to know about.

If Paul or I really like the product, the mailing will come with a letter of recommendation.

If you do not wish to receive any outside mailings, send an email to Info@LearningStrategies.com.

To receive email from other companies, you must opt-in during the check out process on our website, or send an email to News@LearningStrategies.com. We offer three opt-ins: 1) email from us; 2) other self-improvement offers; and 3) other offers.

That hurts Pete. I ordered the Neo-tech book a while back and had it sent to my uncle(I was living in Brazil still) and ever since, he has received so much self-help -crap- that if you piled it up, the whole South would be wallowing in the mess. And this is not the type of self-help that actually helps anyone, this is the self-help that people use as toliet paper when the telephone book runs dry.

Some of it is fun to laugh at, but I pity the trees that were slashed for nothing. I just hope being on their mailing list, through LSC does not entail that much TP.

Sounds like most people have a preconception, but never actually read the material. Well, looks like I'm a loner on this one:

I've been studying Neo-Tech for some time now, and it has been one of the most valuable products I have ever bought. Even more valuable to me than PhotoReading. Let me explain!

Neo-Tech uses a lot of "shock" techniques to make people open their eyes when they see titles like "Seize the Power of Satan" and such. But, get past it. Their business books (not their philosophy books) are actual quite valuable. Take a look at this page: http://neo-tech.com/global/

It's packed with hard-nosed, down to earth business tips and techniques. Any sucessful businessman can tell you that these tips are a no-nonsense approach to creating competitive values and becoming successful. In fact, I ordered PhotoReading because I could see the connection in using your mind to overcome problems and create personal success.

If you only read ONE THING about Neo-Tech, read their 44 "wealth power" secrets (gotta love these titles!) http://neo-tech.com/global/chapter1.html#Heading1

It might even help you to PhotoRead better.

And please, no flames This is a PhotoReading board. If you want to argue about Neo-Tech, contact me personally.

"Seize the Power of Satan" is an anti-authority thing. Satan broke free from God's control and so should you. Do your own thing. Something like that. Kind of funny if you know anything about NT.

seizeing the power of satan is as phony as outcompeting God and Government.... Yet all those can be done.

Have I just contradicted myself? Yes and No. It depends on how you look at it. I've been reading Neo-Tech for a good few years, (and those years really have been good). I'm not a Neo-Tech basher, More actually of a Bible basher, in that much of the Bible is bad and needs to be bashed. God and Satan do not exist literally. But they do exist as concepts in our head. Photoreading, speed reading, Mega Memory, Accelerated Learning Techniques, etc. help to create matrices of ideas in our heads, and help to do it faster.

Outcompeting God is done by realising that our destiny is created by ourselves, by acquiring the skills etc such as Photoreading. And the concept of Satan (besides what X-tianity has impinged on it) is about individuality and knowledge. Nothing wrong with that is there?

Reading Neo-Tech is going to be something very very different to other info. Someone here posted 'not the kind of self-help crap that actually helps anyone'. Well, you see, self-help is about helping yourself. The info is just a tool, it doesn't actually help you itself, you help you. And that's what Neo-Tech is largely about, taking self-responsibility.

It's simply not about what is commonly thought of as 'Devil-worship'.

And it IS very very powerful stuff once you learn to integrate it. By just 'skimming' it, you won't see what's really being said, you've gotta think too sometimes ;-)

"The ideal tyranny is that which is ignorantly self-administered by its
victims. The most perfect slaves are, therefore, those which blissfully
and unawaredly enslave themselves." -- Dresden James

"Political language...is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder
respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind." "But if
thought corrupts language, language can also corrupt thought." -- George
Orwell

"To the man who only has a hammer, everything he encounters begins to look
like a nail." -- Abraham H. Maslow

"Language creates spooks that get into our heads and hypnotize us."
-- Robert Anton Wilson, Introduction to The Tree of Lies (by Christopher S. Hyatt. Ph.D.)

"It is hard to fight an enemy who has outposts in your head."
-- Sally Kempton

"The most potent weapon in the hands of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed."
-- Steve Biko

The link to those 44 Wealth-Power techniques are highly recommended.

yours in hope that you don't pass up another good thing because it sounded a bit kooky (just like photoreading probably did at first)

Tim - We do not approve very many outside offers, self-improvement or otherwise, so I don't think any deluge came from us.

One of the reasons we've traded with NeoTech is because of the many comments we've recevied from customers such as DavidC.

I've come to know many people on the DB and respect and value their opinions.

I'm on a personal life long quest to improve myself in the hopes of passing what I have learned to my children.

I had at one point come very very close to acquiring NeoTech. Can any NeoTech 'experts' or anyone familiar with Neotech shed some light on how this can transpire to one's business and/or personal life?

Neo-Tech offers a ton of material on their site. What worked for me is reading The Story and the #114 Advantages (which is on their site -- you don't see too many self-help companies offering such material for free).

Don't really want to get into my personal experiences, but I'll tell you that I get quite a few sincere smiles from cutes babes as a result.

On the flip-side of what DavidC said ("It might even help you to PhotoRead better."), I'm getting into PR to help with my NT studies. Gotta love cross-training. It's kind of funny because I found my way here because of what someone on the NT boards said about these products.

I apologize if I'm not too insightful as to your NT queries, but, like I said, they offer a bunch of info on their site for free. I'm just getting into PR so owning "The Book" is a bonus for me (print vs. web-docs).

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to "practice" seeing my blip-page. Where did I put my tangerine...?
