I have attended the photoreading seminar about 5 years ago and also purchased the book(I don't remember if that was included in the seminar itself).

I have never been able to photoread successfully and gave up the practice after the seminar.

I have recently tried to implement it again, going through all the processes with great attention to details in the processes.

But I have noticed a few things and have questions that I couldn't find answers to from any other websites.

1) When I attain photofocus, I can still see and read the letters with either eye. Not both at the same time, but without trying, my dominant eye (usually) starts to see the letters on the pages. This diminishes the effect of the whole process, does it not?
2) I have tried to keep my focus on the corners of the pages, but it still does not help. What can I do?
3) When I repeat the mantra of "keep the state, see the page", aren't I interfering with the information going into my unconscious mind, since language is the left-brain oriented activity? This is why I shouldn't see the letters when I am in the photofocus, I imagine.
4) Is it okay for me to see the letters? Am I still in the photostate then? Or am I just in the normal beta state only with my eyes in the photofocus? (I have been able to attain 'photofocus' since I was a child and is second nature to me...perhaps this is why I can see the letters with which ever eye I wish to).
The problem is that I can't undo the 'seeing'.
5) Can I really take off my glasses and still photoread?
How can the mind receive the information if the information itself (reaching the brain) is blurred?
6) I have tried seeing the pages focused, but with an imaginary 'x' through them from diagonal corners. This way, I can notice the corners and not see the individual words and letters.
Is this process any better or worse than reading with photofocus?

I know that I have asked a lot of questions, but I have been really disappointed with my results, especially after attending the seminar.
Please help.
No one else seems to know the answers to these questions...they all just give me half-hearted answers saying 'yeah, maybe this will work.'
I don't want the 'maybe's anymore. I want to know for sure what will work.
