Is there a way that I can view and add to this duscussion forum via email posts as opposed to connecting to the web pages all the time? Something similar to a newsgroup function? Drew

Nope. You gotta come here. How about everyone else? Do you prefer this system or would you prefer a listserve system? I like this system, because it doesn't clog my email.

I find listserves, like yahoo eGroups, extremely annoying. I have gotten a lot of good information from them, but ultimately unregistered from them all.

Yes, I agree. This is the next evolution of the newsgroup.

I very much prefer this format over the newsgroups.

I like this Discussion forum, because I can actually talk to people interested in photoreading! A cool thing that could be added would be a chat program.

I like this format too. As for Ryan's idea of a chat room, I think it would take away from the discussion forum, as people would exchange ideas in the chat room, and anyone not on at the time would not be able to benefit from the exchange.

Besides that, everyone can take more time to think about matters. I think that provides in more in-depth conversations. Chatting lowers the level IMHO.
