I think we all have a photographic memory to some extent, some of us just utilize it more than others.
As an example, both my brother and I are known to say things like "I can't remember what it says, but its on the left hand side, page 63, in the right hand column." If you were to look you'd see exactly what it is we were discussing, but we couldn't remember the exact wording.
I don't know a lot of people who do this, in fact, I can't think of one person I know.
I don't think that he or I are any more talented or gifted, just that we recall differently. I've often wondered if it is because we are visual learners. If someone starts talking to me about something, I get a bit glazed but if they just email it to me or show me a book I'm perfectly fine with it.
