I know that in alpha you are relaxed and all, but I want to know do you experience something like yawning, itching etc. when in alpha. I know you do in normal state but do you in alpha?

I sometimes do. Thus the main question is: Am I in alpha state if I experience itch for example? Or you don't feel something like that at all?

That might be a good way to know if you're in state - if you feel what you normally feel, then you're not.

Heck! I sometimes itch when fully conscious!

Yes, some experience many different symtoms when in a very relaxed state ... itching being one.

I sometimes shake like there's an earthquake! Yawning is good. Means you are getting rid of negative energy.
When I'm in Alpha, I simply know. That's all there is to it. You need to know.

I'm sure that a lot of the time you are in alpha when you are driving..
If you find yourself daydreaming behind the wheel, cruising along the highway, you're in alpha state.

On a related note, Chunyi Lin says that when practicing Spring Forest Qigong, during which you are often in alpha, you may experience itches and twitches and other sensations. He says it is the energy moving through the body, and just to let it be. In other words, do not scratch.

Now that's for Spring Forest Qigong. I wonder about PhotoReading.

HA HA perhaps thats just for QiGong. If you don't scratch the itches, you might find it inturrupting your "relaxed" alertness

Before i immigrated here to Canada i was living in Hong Kong. When i was about 5 years old, i remember my parents signing me up for Qigong lessons. I thought it was the most silly-est thing i've ever come across then After all knowledge is the first step to silence any skeptecism.

<<If you don't scratch the itches, you might find it inturrupting your "relaxed" alertness.

When you are truly in a state of relaxed alertness itches are not distracting.
