When i was your age, i felt the same way. But, in the 30+ years since then, i have come to understand that status, money & power can be used for the good of the world, to benefit the world. My vision was limited to understanding status, $$ & power b/c i saw them thru the eyes of my parents. It took a long time to understand them on my terms.
