I got my home study course yesterday and I just finished tape 6! I have a bunch of questions.

1. When y'all say 5-10 books a day for a few weeks, does this mean 5-10 *different* books each day? Does it count if you photoread 5 books one day and then activate them for the next few days? Or do you just photoread and then activate it 20 minutes later?

2. Is there any advantage to doing more than 10 books per night?

and sort of related:
3. I can't hold the blip and I spent half an hour on the stereogram with zip results so I've decided to go with the X. Do I have to imagine the 'X' connecting the four corners for *each* page of the book when I photoread? Or can I just gaze in the center of the book and just be aware, through peripheral vision, of the 4 corners?

4. Has anyone practiced photoreading text online just after doing the home study? How did that work? Is it better to just stick with books at first?

First off, welcome to the world of PhotoReading!

Secondly, don't ask any questions until you finish the course.

But, as long as you asked the questions...

1. You can PhotoRead the same book over again. You can activate the books anytime you like.

2. Yes. You'll increase your chances of experiencing "spontaneous activation." You only have to fully activate a couple books each week when you are PhotoReading 10 books a day.

3. Gaze, and be aware.

With regard to Photoreadng 5-10 books a day I have some questions:

1) Is it OK to do this in one sitting (with short breaks of course)?

2) Should I be affirming (start & end) between each and every book?

You can do one book after another. Take a break if you want to. I generally do not unless my hands are sore from turning the pages. Many of our instructors recommend a break.

Absolutely affirm. It is a good habit to get into even when you regular read a magazine article.

Do we need to activate all of these 5-10 books after every session, activate all of them later, or not activate at all?

Fully activate one or two of these books a week.

Concerning the missing blip of online texts:
Consider attaching a piece of string to your monitor, running from the top of your screen to the bottom right in the middle of it.

Maybe better than a string down the middle; you could put two strings equidistant from the center of the monitor. When your gaze diverges you would see a total of three strings, the same effect as with 3D pictures.

You may want to keep in mind that using a 'crutch' like this or the blip page itself isn't really necessary. They are tools to help you get in the right mind state, but not having the blip page won't impede your progress.
