Hello everybody,

During my studying sessions I respect the 30 minute time patterns (studdy 30 rest 5min x3, then study 30 rest 15). But I´m not sure how to best take advantage of my 30 minutes (note: I PR the chapters i need to studdy the day before).

Time flies when Im having fun, too much time.

Does anyone know how to get the best of the 30 minutes?

I believe one of my weaknesses is making mind probing questions. How is the best way to formulate a mind probing question? And are they very necesary?

Please excuse my english writing, it is not my native language, but i do my best to be better every day.

Thank u

To get the best of the 30 min ... use up all 30 minutes! The 30 minute guideline is just that, a guideline for optimal PR'ing, studying. Any learning activity should be rewarded with a break. Make's for a more enjoyable experience because studying does not become monotonous.

To get the 'BEST' out of the 30 minutes requires you be able to commit 100% concentration.

No one has weaknesses, just abilities that need room for improvement!

There are other forms of activation besides mind probing. If your texts contain questions at the end of the chapters, perhaps you can use those as mind probing questions. Remember, the other forms of activation serve a purpose as well.

Your english is perfectly fine!

Thank you Michael

Another thing that concerns me is the size of the medical books I have to learn, the pages are huge, and in some cases not very tall but very wide, about 20 inches. Would it be best to view one page, carefully slide to the next, flip the page and do the same thing over and over, or does my periferrial vision cover such lenghts.

Size of material does not matter. Some Photoreaders PR newspapers ... I for one do not as too much negative energy in news papers!

If you're beginning, use the center of the text book to find the blip. You could alternatively use the four corners of the book to imagine a X from corner to corner.

As a test try this, if you're at your computer reading this, relax, and casually glance down at your keyboard. Notice the items to your left and right. Your peripheral vision covers a great amount of area doesn't it? So to will it when it comes to PR'ing.

This whole systems take time to develop, play with it and let it develop naturally.
I've been at it for months and I'm just starting to get comfortable with it ... so, go easy and look for signs where you are improving.
