Hi. I'm a (yet another ) learning photoreader. I'm doing the course on my spare time. Unfortunately, I don't have much, so I advance rather slowly.

So, my question is this (regarding Elmo9's last comment): can I realistically expect satisfying results even if I photoread only one book every 2-3 days?

Also, to make the tangerine technique work, do I have to take the time to get to Alpha or just relax a bit? I don't get the part where I'm supposed to put my attention on the back of my head when it's supposed to be on the book I'm reading.

Thanks for your help.

I just registered and I'm new to photoreading too; well, I've been trying for two full years without success. I read Paul's book and started trying right away. That was two years ago. Now I'm in the same state. It seems that the ideal state is too fragile to me. I get tense very easily. What do you recommend? Should I buy the personal course?

I got the book last week and the Tangerine Technique is probably the easiest for me.

I think the easiest way to do it is to sit down, close your eyes, and pretend you are having a out-of-body experience and you are standing right behind yourself overlooking your own head and desk. Then imagine looking over your own head and desk.

Personally I can feel a small feeling of pressure in my eyes and have felt something being activated in the back/top part of my brain. I think this exercise stimulates the Parietal Lobe which is in that area. The parietal lobe has to do with creativity and other important stuff for studying.

Hope this helps.
