I think it would help if you used old exams to help you activate the material. Read the questions first then photoread the material. Use the old exams to then activate the photoread material and then dip/scan/super-read. Make memory maps for each topic.
Don't spend your time listening to PR tapes if you have to study for upcoming exams...you may be procrastinating....Good luck..
