Hi, I read in one of the threads, that seeing the "blip" page is a lot like looking at one of those 3d stereograms. Does this mean that if you can't see the images in stereograms that you can't learn to PR? I have never been able to see the images in stereograms even though I've spent hours trying...will this cause problems with trying to learn to PR? (I haven't ordered the course yet)

in reply 2 ur message u dont need to worry. if you cant see the blip page there is an alternative:
relax your gaze and look at the book in a way that you can notice its four corners and imagine an imaginery X connecting them then just keep the state as covered in the course.
the course itself covers it all so u can have no worries regarding this matter.
this works just as well as the blip so even if you wont be able to see the blip u can still photoread. hope i helped ya ,have a nice day.

Nah. You don't need the blip. You'll do just fine without it. Go grab a book and sit in a chair with a table in front of it. Put something on the table. Hold the book the way you would to read it but look above the top of the book (at the object on the table). Notice the pages of the book in your peripheral vision. As you get comfortable, slide your eyes down without changing your focus. Eventually, you'll get comfortable with looking "through" the book. You'll see the text and the whitespace around the text without actually having to focus on the text (that's a bit of a battle at first).

I tried the stereoreading website and for the life of me I can't see the three dimensional objects. So I started reading War and Peace by jsut relaxing my eyes - without the over-laid imgaes - and I was in a unique relaxed state and instead of seeing a bunch of patterns of texxt and whitespace I was actually seeing the words move before my eyes and the maneings were just popping into my brain - while holding the down arrow.

It was like watching a movie. I am not sure why I can do this with less effort than with the books, but I assume it is because I am a computer person and am much more relaxed with the PC and keyboard than with pen and paper.
