There was mention sometime ago that 'daydreaming' was a sign that the brain was in the superlearning state. A good sign.

It's been mentioned many times that 'relaxation' is the key. I believe you may have that down pat, remember that the tilting of the head and flipping of pages will also get ya there in a matter of time.

Have you made a 'commitment' to spend an amount of time devoted to PR'ing?

Is your purpose or passion been established for wanting to PR?

Are you using the tangerine method and affirmation of "As I PR, my concentration is absolute" ?

If your feeling tense in the neck and shoulder area. Try these two Brain Gym exercises to help - Neck roll and Owl.

Neck Roll, we've all done them at one point in time in life ... use to relax neck and shoulders. Breathe deeply, relax your shoulders, and drop your head forward. Allow your head to roll SLOWLY from side to side as you breathe out any tightness. Your chin draws a smoooth curve across your chest as your neck relaxes. (From Brain Gym book)

Owl ... helps to release tentions that develop from reading. Grasp the shoulder and squeeze the muscles firmly. Turn your head to look back over your shoulder. Breathe deeply and pull your shoulders back. Now look over the other shoulder, opening the shoulders again, Drop the chin to your chest and breathe deeply, letting muscles relax. Repeat with the other side of shoulder. (From Brain Gym book)

Remember one thing, we all experience days where our minds are in overdrive and other days where there is complete silence. Take each in stride and forge ahead!
