Sorry for replying so late, 1st time looking at the board. This technique really does work. Before I knew that it was the technique, I taught myself how to do it by chance. I was able to memorize the equipment list and location of each item by compartment for an entire fire station,(six trucks) in one night. I recorded the items from a "map" of the trucks on to a tape, an then replayed the tape until I had it memorized. The other students were astounded by the precision of my recollection. I got 100% recall for the test. I'm now trying to learn PR to help my reading comprehension. Best of luck to all.
