Statments such as "I wish something like that could happen to myself" are attainable either via thought or action.
My sister is always preaching to me, when I told her that I had comprehension issues regarding the Bible, she said, ask God for understanding and the true meaning shall reveal itself.
She also make's another statement that 'a battle is being waged as we speak between evil and good' ...
I do know that many great people in life all at one point ... were influenced in some form or fashion by the Bible. Of course, other religions can probably do the same.
In closing, one thing I did learn from taking Dale Carnegie, never speak about sex, politics and religion ... I hope I have not offended anyone, that was not my intention.
