I was just wondering if there were any Christian Photoreaders that use PRing to improve themselves without getting into the spiritual intuitive side of the technique? I took the course a few years back and have had limited success but never anything close to what the ads claim. The only reason that I am asking is because those that seem to have had success with the program are very open minded spiritually where I am a little cautious in what I get involved in -especially when it gets spiritual. Is this what's limiting my success, my fear of something other then my minds own ability taking over for me? Just thought I'd ask. Any responses?

Hey! I'm not really good at PRing yet, but as much as I do understand about it, there's absolutely nothing wrong with learning the skill. It's like any other skill we learn in life, except that this one skill is like a megaskill, which enables us to acquire other skills. I sincerely believe that God wants us all to utilize ourselves in service to Him with our best effort. Learning Photoreading would be very, very benefical in the way of learning with the aim of serving Him. Photoreading the Bible would be one great benefit.  In witnessing efforts, photoreading text related to the situation or the belief you are dealing with would help tremendously with respect to the amount of information you would pick up in such a short amount of time. Since we are bringing up the Bible for which I have the upmost respect for, this actually happened to me about a week ago. About a year ago, I received a Bible from a friends father. I guess it was because I showed a keen interest whenever we got together and would talk and talk about the Bible. As I said, about a week ago, just before going to bed, I decided to PR the Bible from front to back in a dimly lit bedroom. As it turned out, that night, I dreamed I was in my SUV and there was a terential downpour, so much that the windshield in my SUV caved in and water just poured in and out my driver side door! I'm convinced that must have been the section from the Bible referencing Noah's Ark!

I'd like to thank you Jermy for your words of encouragement. I guess I will stick with the photoreading process. Like you said we are using our own God given abilities to be successful at Photoreading. I guess I just wanted to hear it from someone else. I just finished reading your reply Michael and I think that what you experienced was great. I wish something like that could happen to myself. How did you prepare for the actual photoreading of the Bible? Did you preview it? It sounds like it would have been a long process even with photoreading it.

Wow, that was quite a dream you had there, Michael! I haven't photoread the Bible yet, but I did write out a plan for photoreading it. This is just an example for to help you in planning out your reading. State the purpose:
Improvements in
-decision-making
-dealing with situations in life
-witnessing
-appreciation of life and
-relationships with people and with God.
Attain a thorough knowledge and comprehension of the Bible. Photoread the Bible. Activate:
-first pass-through: The big picture of each book of the Bible.
-second pass-through: The major points of each chapter.
-third pass-through: Biblical characters (getting well-acquainted with each)
-fourth pass-through: Parables of Jesus
-fifth pass-through: Laws of the Bible That's all the levels I wrote out. Levels 4 and 5 may not even be necessary. I'm not experienced with Photoreading (in other words, a beginner) so I can't say where any extra activation won't help much. This is just to give you an idea. I'd like to hear about how you planned out your reading of the Bible, Michael. Good luck, T! BTW, don't forget to pray. Prayer is powerful and effective.

Hiddenelephant, Statments such as "I wish something like that could happen to myself" are attainable either via thought or action. My sister is always preaching to me, when I told her that I had comprehension issues regarding the Bible, she said, ask God for understanding and the true meaning shall reveal itself. She also make's another statement that 'a battle is being waged as we speak between evil and good' ... I do know that many great people in life all at one point ... were influenced in some form or fashion by the Bible. Of course, other religions can probably do the same. In closing, one thing I did learn from taking Dale Carnegie, never speak about sex, politics and religion ... I hope I have not offended anyone, that was not my intention. I love this discussion about PR. It has been very interesting reading the posts. I hope to pick up the PR course soon and one of the first books I plan on PRing is the Bible. That and a number of programming books. I am also a christian and hope to find that the course is not overly dependant upon eastern philosophy. I beleive that the mind can do incredible things and that few if any have relized the true potential that lies within each of us. I also beleive that we have an obligation as Christians to better ourselves in all areas of life. That is why I want to try the course. In the field that I have chosen changes happen at lightning speed and I need all the help I can get just to keep up. Michael, love the dream. I am also a Christian and I am expecting to get my PR system in this coming week I put up a bunch of topics but my questions never get answered but maybe this time. How long did it take you to PR the Bible, activating etc etc. I dont quite understand the steps so forgive me if i misuse a word. How many times have you PR the Bible and what have you gotten out of it? Sorry for all the questions but I dont know about all this PR stuff. One more question, If I go to a bookstore and PR like 10 books do I have to take time after every book to activate the info that I just PR or can I do all 10 and then go back and activate all? sorry again

There is no correct way to use the PhotoReading whole mind system on the Bible, or any book, for that matter. If you are involved in Bible study, then use the system as you would any text. If you are searching for advice, inspiration, or answers try these: • PhotoRead the entire Bible or sections of it before bed. Notice your dreams. Maybe they relate to the Bible. Maybe they relate a story in the Bible to your situation. You see, dreams are a great way for you to try out ideas, to role play, to work through issues. Also, notice what may happen in your upcoming days. • PhotoRead the Bible. With your eyes close, ask for guidance (or, pray for guidance). Then open the Bible to a random page. Start reading where your eyes fall. You may discover that the passage is exactly what you needed to hear, or may have insight for you, or... If you make no connection, mark the passage and revisit it later in the day or the next day. Some Bibles are difficult to PhotoRead because the pages are so thin. You may want to get a Bible for PhotoReading.
