Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ PhotoReading, Memory Optimizer turning the pages distracts me

Hi!

I've recently bought the photoreading book but the way I turn the pages distracts me.
I couldn't find anything about it in the book.
Please, could anybody suggest an effective way to turn the pages in order to stay in the flow?

For many people, the most challenging part of PhotoReading is flipping the pages smoothly and evenly.

Play with it until you come up with something that works for you.

Flipping pages does take time to become comforatble with. I remember in the beginning, I would fumble with the page, or turn a bunch of pages at once. Time is the best teacher.

Holding the book at a 45 degree angle or something close to it helps. I found that proping the book at an angle helps the blip to come in clearly and flipping is not as hard.

You may notice that as you approach the end of the book, turning of pages may become somewhat difficult. you can at this point, switch to Photoflipping.

Before PR'ing, affirm using something along these lines "As I PR, I flip pages smoothly and easily"

If you do miss pages, let them go ... you'll catch them on subsequent passes of PR'ing.
