I finally caught the Photoreading informercial today. I taped it and watched it over and over again

For some reason evey time i watch that informertial, i can't help seeing myself with Pete's skills a few years down the road.

Seriously, how old are you Pete?? You look like you're still in your twenties....must be all those Qi Gong practicing sessions eh?

You know what i absolutely HATE about the Everlyn Wood personal learning course?

Its the person who's talking in monotone in the audio tapes

I borrowed the system from one of my friend and it absolutely drives me crazy, i can't even get through the first tape because i find myself falling asleep due to boardom

Just say, i've hieved the Everlyn Wood program back at my friend's face this morning

Too many drills!! I want to dig right into the reading immediately, i don't want to SLOWLY work my reading speed up to a turtle-ish 3000WPM. Gosh to reach 3000WPM with speed reading techniques would require you to practice eveysingle day for 6-8 weeks!!

Using photoreading--whole mind system, my reading rate is up to 50,000+ wpm already.

How much of 50,000+wpm to you conprehend??And
how long have you been PRing??It must be the fresh BC air ehh!!!

There aren't any drills? How do you begin the process if you don't practice it first?

I started the Wood tapes about 3 days ago and it's challenging so far. Is PR easier to learn in comparison to the Wood course???

As you can probably see, the PR system doesn't require you to "DRILL" it in. In fact if you try to drill it in, you wouldn't go anywhere

What i mean by my previous post is that, I can "USE" the PR system right away as opposed to conventional speed reading where i have to keep pushing and pushing.

My 50,000 wpm rate is the about the same concious comprehension i get when i used to read at 600 wpm (before i learning PR) which is about 80% on what im need to know.

I've radically changed my approach to reading. When syntopic reading, i SELDOM go through the books from cover to cover. I just take what i need and leave the reat.
Let me ask you a question. When you go shopping, do you buy eveything in the store?? The answer would most likely be NO, unless you are RICH So if you don't buy eveything you see in the store, why would you read everything? Just take what you need and be done with it. If you need more at a later time, you can always go back and get more!

I've started using the PR system 1.5 months ago. I think the key to my speedy success with the system is my decision to stop worrying about doing it right and just do it. Also it could be attributed to the massive volume i've been photoreading.

Can you make a .MPG of it (by using DivX)? A lot of people in the photoreading and paraliminal forum, including myself, are very keen on this infomercial. It's perfect for modeling an outstanding photoreader.

Oh yes, please convert your tape.
In Germany, I don't have any possibility to get this infomercial.
I'm looking forward to it.

ok ok...as I post more and more, I"m starting to get the answers to my questions. Thanks Elmo for your post about the store. That gave me a good picture. However, if I went to the store and were rich, I would be able to buy everything and have it sent home within a week...therefore, using that metaphor, how long would it take me to keep going back to the store before I was able to have everything in my house should I make single trips?

For complete 100% comprehension it seems like it would take me the same amount of time to have the whole store in my house no matter which way I shopped.

I've ordered the book and will take it from there.

Yep make single trips, the more frequent the better. Every trip or evey week for that matter, concentrate on one topic. Photoread eveything you can get your hands on pertaining to that topic and notice what happens. At the end to that week. Activate what ever you want/need. What ever you do just to a lot of it. No need to do any drills, just use it.
