Thank you Margaret!
I would also appreciate hearing from others on their experience with the with the photoreading step ( self contained ).
For the past 3 nights I have photoread the same book. As of yet, no activiation has occured simply on it's own. I understand that this, like any other muscle, takes time to develop. I'm just anxious to hear success stories from others as related to this step.
As for the PR Whole Mind System,
I have no complaints. I have used it on a few books so far and found that in the course of about 1-2 hours, I have a significant understanding of the book! About the same amount as if I had spent 10 or more hours reading the book conventionally. The suite of techniques used in the whole mind system are great.
However, I find that this works best for non-fiction, where I am able to take out the required information. The 80/20 rule. This doesn't have the same effect for me in novels. Steinbeck just doesn't have the same imagery if you dip into key areas of interest. I miss out on the whole picture that the author is painting.
This is where I am hoping that the PR step itself would come in. However, as of yet, no light has switched on for me in this area. Knowing personal success stories related to this step would be highly appreciated!
