I've got a question regarding the photofocus: I've read the book some time ago and forgot about it, but since I found this very interesting website, I started again. Now my question: I have little problem to produce the "blip", but I don't "see" the letters sharply. They are all somewhat blurred, and I don't catch to make them sharp. I don't have any problems with 3D-magic images. Is it necessary to perceive the letters sharply? Because when I squint, I DO see the blip AND sharp letters! Is it possible to photoread being boss-eyed? I mean do I get it squinting or have I to use the "correct" method - parallelising my eyes?

Hope anybody has an idea!

I have been thinking the same thing... I've read comments that looking at the book the same way that you look at 3D images creates the desired effect. My question, though, is that when i look at the 3D images, i cross my eyes, and see the images inverted. Does this do the same thing for you or should i try to work on diverging my eyes, instead of converging(crossing) them?

If i should work on diverging them, what would be a good way to develop that skill? should i practice looking at those 3d images?

There has been much discussion on this topic in the past ... performing a search will yield many answers.

To close, when photofocusing, use a 'soft and relaxed gaze' and try to see the whitespace, imagine an X connecting all four corners or see beyond the book as though using Xray vision.

In time, the Photofocus will become automatic. I've gotten into trouble because I have a tendancy to go into Photofocus at will and I look spaced out. My wife takes it as though I'm not listening ... which is far from the truth!
