The key to photofocus is not just to see the blip page; it is to engage your unconcious mind. And NO converging your eyes will only strain it. Wouldn't create the relaxed alertness necessary to photoread.

I've been photoreading for 2 months now with significant results without ever seeing the "blip" in the page. I advise you not to rely on the use of strings and pencil.
