Whenever I read technical material I find that my level of comprehension is bad. I could read one chapter that I have a sense of familiarity with after pr-ing the book, and I find that my recall is zero. I am currently revising for my exams and feel I need to change the way I revise because I read books and the stuff just doesn’t stay in my head. Part of the problem perhaps lies in my unwillingness to make multiple passes through the relevant chapters, I just get bored easily. I have tried everything – binaural beat cds, ces, smart drugs – and none of these things seems to help. Can anyone give me some advice?
