I am listening to tape 3b and when he talks about photofocus and the blip etc etc....I think I see the blip page..Does it look like a fatter center of the page with writing? kinda hard to explain anyway I think I see it but the words are clear are they supposed to be?? I mean they arent in perfect focus but I can make out the words....

Also Superreading didnt do much ? Could that have anything to do with not doing it in order ?? I mean I am listening to the tapes and he taught that out of order ?? might that be a reason???

PS>>>So far I LOVE IT!!!
and I am excited to see what else my mind is capable of!

Thanks guys

You're on target!!!!! The width of the blip page can vary from fat to thin and with words in it. Sometimes the blip will disappear. When this happens, do not worry, just maintain your soft focus and continue turning the pages. As far as the words being clear or fuzzy, that is what is expected. If you find yourself conciously subvocalizing the words, Try read with the material upside down so that your concious mind will not be able to distinquish what the words are.

Are you sure, Allenh, that it has words in it ? I can only see the blip page (or double lines or fat center line), with no words, when I focus outside, and above, the center line between the two pages. This center divider line between the two pages is also called the crease line or spine of the book. As soon as I try to bring my focus right in the middle of this center (vertical or spine) line, the blip page disappears ! But, I think I will get it in time. We can use another technique that Paul tells in the tapes. Focus in the middle of the two pages, right in the center of the spine, and (with your peripheral vision) see the 4 end corners of the book, and also see all the white spaces between the words. Draw an imaginary X starting from the 4 corners of the book whose center crosses the spine right where you are focusing.
Try it.

Let me clarify that statement. Most of the time my blip page doesn't contain any words within it, but then again depending on how soft my gaze is, I will see some of the printed text within it but it would have like a 3D effect associated with it, meaning it will stand out more and look like their hovering an 1/8 of an inch about the blip but within it.

Also, Please understand that my vision tends to be different from most of you. I have a natural soft gaze and a very very wide peripheral range due to many many years as a aikido expert and instructor. This is beneficial to me when dealing with multiple opponents attacking and being able to see them in a 180 degree arc. Also I have a natural divergence of my eyes too.!!!!

Thank you guys very much! That helps me know that I am on the right track and as for seeing a bunch of words thats not in every book I think it might also depend on how big or small the margin is.....Anyway I have another question, When you guys started looking at the book differently with your eyes did you feel somewhat tired or like you are looking at everything weird for a little bit? When I started looking at the "cocktail weinee" My eyes felt sore a lil I guess thats just because I never use them that way....One more thing I know I havent finished the system yet but how do you know that you are photoreading right like how do you know that you got it???

Thanks,
Dexter

After you manually activate it, the information in the whole book "gels" and you have full comprehension. A distinctly different experience than what you comprehend with regular-reading. And, you'll spend 1/2 to a 1/10 of the time with the PhotoReading system.

Notice all and any small subtle indicators that the system is working for you. Small successes lead to greater success. And, share you experiences here with us often!

Are you sure that I shouldn't be seeing anything inside the blip page? But I do......So does that mean I got it all wrong from the start?

Not at all. It is difficult to do the PhotoReading step incorrectly.

The print may appear blurry on your first dozen books or so when you do the PhotoReading step. As long as you aren't putting hard focus on any words, sentences or paragraphs, you'll imprint all the patterns of text directly into your "other-than-conscious" mind. Turn the pages in a steady rhythm and comfortable pace, and use the closing affirmation statements on pg.51 of the PhotoReading book.

Then, you'll start building connections between your conscious and inner mind as you begin Mind Probing with your trigger words from Preview, and SuperReading & Dipping for answers to those questions, and Mind Mapping the chapter-title trigger words, as well as the words and phrases you choose within the chapters. Remember to keep your activations to 30 minutes and give yourself a break.

Also, notice your intuitive responses to your book, during and after your activation sessions. And, consider what you need to do to integrate the material after you've activated it.
