u seem 2 have mixed some stuff.
the open gaze u use during activation differs from the soft gaze u use in the photoreading step. the soft gaze or photofocus is done by looking beyond the book & noticing the 4 corners & the white spaces. the open gaze we use in activation is not really a gaze. u c, 1 of our problems when we read regulary is that we narrow our sight 2 1 word or even just 1 silable. the open gaze paul reffers 2 on the activation step is trying 2 look on the text so we can notice more of it (usually done in super reading or just skittering the text) so we can put entire blocks of text into our conscious so we can retrigger our unconscious knowledge we gained during the photoreading session. 2 use the open gaze the key is just 2 relax & b playful with it. so this open gaze is just a ministep i usually do in super reading & dipping so i can catch the entire line or more in 1 moment.
about ur lazy eye, sorry im really not sure. u should try using the X method it works just like photofocus. also run a search about seeing impairments on the forum db. or ask a question about it specificly. if any1 else can help about this subject it will b very nice (hint
).
and a hunch 2 me is just a hunch, well ill b more specific: i feel like ive passed over something which usually accompanied by a feeling of a slight discomfort. (not physical discomfort ofcourse..u know the feeling of i forgot 2 do something) . as 4 ur dipping check that uve done ur trigger word & mind probing questions well (try 2 write it extra 1.5 min). as 4 ur hunch try the dictionary game ,ull get 2 notice it better. it always amazes me that i always succeed the first try well (well i didnt try 2 much but it did work).
hope i helped ya 2 some extent
