I am on a very fixed income, I am a father with three small children and really can't afford 240 dollars for the tape set. But I am extremely interested in the PR program, will the book help me?

ill say it very simply.
The book WILL work only if u use NOPS on it. (notice, own, play, stay) the book itself teaches u the theory. while the course itself is very practical& its sole purpose is 2 basicaly give u the best activation 4 the photoreading book . u dont lose any theoretical part still in the course u get 2 photoread& activate 2 books & 1 of ur choice (since this is a tape u can use it as an infinite guidance with the last book).
i believe that u can achieve the whole results even without the course just by using these rules:
1. forget reading normally while doing the system.
2. stay relax& fluent when activating (relaxation is a key 2 all the steps).
3. check that ur doing the system right step by step on the first times (using the short practical guide in the end of the book) , check only AFTER uve done the system on a book. if u do this in the middle u can just ruin ur state.
4. while doing the steps of the system there's no right & wrong way 2 do it. (what i mean is that u dont need 2 think, im doing this all wrong, it will never work etc. i dont mean that u should flip the book 1 time & expect 2 have a perfect recall.. ).
5. use it.
6. use it.
7. yep, use it (where did i heard this ).

p.s. even if the system wont give u good results at first u can always rapid read the book in the end so u get the comprehension u needed + more.

& 4 last ill give u the rules paul asks the course participents 2 use:
1. go ez on urself.
2. dont do this while driving & stuff ..hey u wanted the rules no?
3. u need 2 use the steps on the time constrains given. as in the limit suggested 4 previewing& learning in blocks of 30 mins each. this teaches u 2 pr in the most effective way.

hope i helped u.
also u can ask elmo 4 an advice. he seems 2 b doing great without the course.

How are you coming with PR without the tapes?

Just checking before I buy the book for myself.

I had to order the book online, which I did Last friday (18th) and it has yet to arrive. I'm very anxious. They said it would take 3 - 7 days to arrive so I should have it soon. I will keep you up to date. I would love to know how the book works for you as well so please keep me informed.

Roy - The book is an easy read - so far - I do like how it's laid out. I've gone through the first step, much of what I already knew so I'll continue with second step tonight. I've learned from this forum that I need to go into this ready to learn something new, to have fun with it and not to get frustrated.

I just bought the book on Friday the 25th, and have already snail-read it once, and photoread it once. I think the photoreading is slightly working, but I dont thik my concious mind trusts my sub-concious mind enough. Are there any pointers to allow my concoious mind to trust my sub concious more? Thanks,

Dave
