Adobe Acrobat allows you to set a rate for automatically advancing the page. With that product, I try to look through the computer screen while focusing on the white space around the page (made as big as will fit on my screen).

Adobe Reader allows you to view two pages at once. You can get a blip page with it. I haven't found a way to automatically advance, so I just keep a finger on the right arrow.

Both work nicely if you happen to have PDF files to work with.
