Forums IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ PhotoReading, Memory Optimizer Programming Languages?

Hey guys, I got started with the the system not long ago (LOVE it ) and was wondering if anyone has tried to learn computer languages by PRing books. If so, how? I'm interested in knowing how to prepare, preview, PR, activate and rapid read with the specific purpose of learning to code.

Any thoughts?

Run a search on programming or somthing like that, there have been many messages that I have seen just in the past few weeks hope it helps

this is my current project too. (learning C ).

-take heed that you need to code too, learning the theory isnt enough when learning to program.

If you already know the fundamentals of programming - program flow, functional blocks, loop controls, etc., learning a programming language is not difficult and PhotoReading can help tremendously. For learning something like C, I would advise against using Kernegin and Ritchie (sp?) and instead use a book with a lot of example snippets of code. I recently used PhotoReading to help myself learn J2EE (an technology built upon Java2 that uses servlets, EJBs and a host of other fun stuff for creating enterprise web applications). The book I was learning from was approximately 1,400 pages long. Using PhotoReading and MindMapping, I made it through the book in several passes over a couple of days and have successfully created the components I needed to for a group project that I am working on - the upshot of this story is that Yes!, PhotoReading can help tremendously with learning computer languages and technologies!
