Okay, there are so many ways to produce an OBE that no way I could say them all. But I bet if you photoread a book on Astral Projection, such as some online books. I have read one online book for that beginning to end. About 24 chapters long. And after reading this I have had so many occurances of almost leaving my body that it happens now at least once or twice per week. Anyway you could follow the many technieques he describes in his book. I have done a few of them and had myself almost leave my body after doing them. But what i personally usually do is this. Think of a nice place in your mind, think that your actually there, and moveing around the place, interacting with it. And try to keep thinking about it until you fall asleep. Now if you keep thinking about this place w/o letting your mind wander off before you fall asleep, chances are what your thinking about will become so vivid to your mind that just before the body completely dozes off, bam you will suddenly feel these vibrations overcome your body, and possibly a loud pitch noise in your head that gets very loud, also by this time you WILL notice how time speeds up in the room your in! Wow now that has to seem impossible don't it? Well no this is because it also seems that time slows down first in the room your in (this part i have not noticed myself, but my friend has because somehow this all happended to him with his eyes open.) And then after it slows down, the loud noise and vibration comes to you and then time will speed up in the room. The way I know this is because i could have a radio going in my room or a fan going in my room at night as I do this. Generally, I use a fan which helps me to fall asleep faster. Anyway, If u let your mind wander, and you fall asleep well then most likely nothing will happen. It is tough keeping your mind focused on one certain thing. But that is Meditation I guess, at least the form I use. Now obviously If you want to Astral Project do this while laying down, They say the best time you might have luck with this if your new to doing this is do try this out when you wake up in the morning. Within the first 30 minutes of wake time, you are in close contact with your subconcious mind. Thats why studies show that if you study something when you wake up, you will have much more comprehension of what you study. Or read for that matter. Or you could do this during the time you go to sleep at night, which i have done usually, but try to only do it if your not too tired, this is because if your very tired, you might not be able to keep your mind focused on one thing. Well I hope this helps! I will post the link to the online Astral Projection book in a second here. I suggest Photoreading it because obvious if you had some sort of spontanious activation in your dream well then most likely you will have an OBE yourself.

Okay here is that link I promised.
http://www.robertpeterson.org/obebook.html

If your going to photoread it from the computer screen, and you don't feel comftorable with photoreading with the scroll button, then do like others suggest and copy and past the whole book into something like wordpad and use the page down button. Much easier and less distracting. I myself have not photoread this book yet because when I was reading it, I didn't have the Photoreading course in my possesion yet.
