I don't know about meditation, but I do know that Yoga does that. it's one of the things what yoga is all about, clearing the communication between the mind and the body so that they can remain a stabilised condition. meditation is about being fully conscious and resting at the same time. it may help you in some ways but not as profoundly as Yoga would.

Well....two years without being sick is quite a long time, but many ppl can go on for even longer even without meditation.

Just got to eat healthy and excercise plenty. And i reccomend taking multiviatamin tablets every other day. No matter how well you eat, you wouldn't be able to satisfy ALL your body's vitamin needs.

I think what might be of help is the deep breathing technique described in one of Tony Robbins' books. It is meant to cleanse the body by activating the lymphatic system. He recommends doing 10 breaths at least 3 times per day, in the morning, afternoon and then evening. The technique is as follows:

Inhale(from the abdomen): 1
Hold for: 4
Exhale: 2

(The numbers are just ratios: for example, if you inhale for 6 counts, then you should hold for 24 counts, then exhale for 12 counts.)

Hope you get better soon

Yoga, when done properly and for some time, strenghtens and cleanses body and mind in the way you wouldn't believe. I know a guy, who is over 50 years old, who has been doing yoga for over 20 years on regular basis - every morning for at least 30 mins. When you lok at him you can tell his age (he's got wrinkles and white hairs) but when you se what he's capable of you can't believe it. No one I know can outrun him (no mater how much younger they are). No one is as flexible as he is. No ne can work hard physical work longer than him. And he doesn't get tired. I've never seen him with low energy. I also do not remember whan he was sick the last time.

He's also been doing meditation, for just as long. Combination of the two gives marvelous results. You can hear many stories, but you'll benefit only if you do it. I believe meditation is very powerful because it removes our blockages and frees our powers (not laser beams, like in power rengers ). However it has to be done with purpose and not just for its own sake.

I am also one of those guys who never gets sick. This winter, for example, there was terrible flu virus, and everyone who caught it was sick for at least 7 days. Everyone in my family got it, but I did not. I did have a headache and felt drowsiness one day, but that was it, and it only lasted for couple of hours. Strong immunity? Sure, but why? Could it be because I'm 'helping' my organism to fight disease? You see, every time I feel bad (getting sick) I do what can be called meditation - I lie down and let go everything so I can observe my body fully concentrated. No effort, no grinding your teeth. Just relax and observe. In a matter of hours that 'bad' feeling leaves my body and I feel as healthy as before. I've been doing it since I know for myself, and long before I found out about meditation. It's my natural way to deal with disease. If only I could find a way to fight carries naturally .

You might be suprised to hear this but I've read/heard it in many places - vitamins in pills are not nearly as effective as natural (e.g. fruit). Human organism does not absorb them well, which means that most of what you put in goes to waste (I can not tell you for sure exact percentage, but I think it was about 90%).

I don't know if your going to beleve this, I do for a fact as it almost happens to me every now and then ACCIDENTLY... He is able to astral project, that means he is very cabable of leaving his body and doing many things in the astral plane. He has had alot of claravoyant happenings also throughout each day. And he has a couple other phenominal happenings also. If you don't know what I mean by leaving your body, it means your spirit within you leaves your body for a certain amount of time. I know that when I almost accidently projected, I know this by the weird feelings I feel overcome me when this happens. Right before you leave your body, time in the room will first slow down dramatically, then time will speed up in the room. I know this for many reasons but don't feel like going into detail right now. Just trust me . But also time runs alot diffrent on the astral plane from what my friend has told me. He says that you can do many unbelevable things when out of your body such as telekinesis, telepathy, claravoyance and many other types of phenominon. He told me this is because when you are out of your body you are in you natural state which is why things are so easy. He says that practicing things out of the body can greatly improve the speed at which you learn some skills. Of course you can't really do things like Photoreading because you can't physically turn the pages! I do beleve everything he says because of what I also experience from time to time..... Please don't flame me for this post, I'm just speaking the truth.

Jovo:

What about combining Yoga with SFQ?
Does SFQ alone serve the purpose?

These things amaze me. I've always been drawn to paranormal and 'invisible world', ever since I was a child, long before I started reading/hearing about it.

Mike:
That's great. Can you tell how exactly do you meditate? I'm asking because there are many types of meditation and I do not know which one is the best for astral projection. I, personally, divide meditation types in two categories:
1. active meditation - is where one concentrates on image or word or sound, body (or anything else) and
2. passive meditation - is where one just lets go and waits (total tranquility).

I believe that first type is more appropriate for self-healing process and similar, while the second type is better for astral projection, for example. What's your experience?

Lomas:
I do not know much about SFQ, but it reminds me a lot on Chinese methods for enabling energy (Chi) to flow through body 'naturally', which makes person healthy, refreshed and energized. If that's your goal, than I would say SFQ serves purpose. However, perfect health is only first stage on spiritual development, and one will have to go past that step to reach enlightment.

Combining Yoga and SFQ will, without doubt, bring you health and peace of mind faster. I believe that all those 'techniques' complement each other. Individual has to decide which method suits him the best. Then he has to stick with it. At some point he'll know it's time to go on.

Bear in mind that this is my opinion. Since I have only recently started to work on myself seriously, I might be off in some of my observations. If you think I'm wrong, please correct me.
