I have used the photoreading program for about a week now. Results are starting to emerge.
I am a med student and am currently in my surgery rotation. I utilize all of the techniques to study my surgery texts with. The organization as far as relaxation, purpose, preview,SR&dip, and mind mapping have been wonderful for increasing retention and speed of reading.
The Photofocus and 1-2sec page flip is starting to come around. I have photoflipped and affirmed all my texts as well as review books for national boards. I wish I had this system when I took the MCAT(MedCollegeAdmissionTest). The review books I merely used the photoflip technique like the dictionary exercise.
I know the Photoflip is starting to work because I dreamed of certain fractures and nerve lesions we have not covered in my surgery texts.
I hope that with continued practice that I will be able to totally ebjoy the benefits of the the system and reap its greatest rewards. I fought doubt in the beginning but kept up the positive affirmations. I believe that eventually the technique of photoflip will "click" and I will be able to become an "excellent" photoreader.
