Well this is my first post here.
I've ordered my tapes and I can't wait for them to get here. I was very pumped after ready the success stories on the PR webpage.

Then the weekend came and went and my tapes still weren't here. So I thought I'd come to the forum and see what advice and inspiration I could find. I've completely read about 50 threads, in the last couple of days. Seen a few not so great post. Really don't need that negative energy. Others really positive posts by quite happy people.

However, No my life is completely different posts. Very little approaching the I PRed a book last night, then activated it, and in 20 minutes I felt like I had comprehension as if I had read the whole thing traditionally.

I've seen a lot of Relax, be patient, clear your mind.

Don't get me wrong. I'm positive about PR. I just expect more than I'm reading about. I've been doing positive affirmations for several days now.

I intend to consume the course as fast as I can make time for it. A week tops. Oh I'll go through it again and again if I have to. But I won't have to(because that's not positive visualization). I'll come back with my "I PRed this 1464 page Linux manual last night and owned each chapter one by one, and finished it in just 3 hours" story. Later I'll come back with I PRed a book last night and I didn't probe it or power-read (whatever those are) I could just recall all the material, as if I had traditionally read it.

I also intend to try speed ready, after a month or so of PR. Oooops, I was going to say if I don't achieve those goals. BUT I WILL.

Anyways I'm just wasting space, time and sharing my enthusiasm.

Where's my course package. I mean Canada is still on the same continent, sheeesh.

No, I'm afriad you're wrong there. In the U.S. Independence Day Bill of 1976, Canada was cut free from North America. It took a lot of spoons, but finally the two countries were seperated. However, for some strange reason, you can still drive across the border.

You know I read that somewhere, but I didn't remember it until you mentioned it. It was at the bottom or page 453 of Put a Newbie Canuck in His Place.

Never read that. Its just when you mentioned Canada is a part of north America, the silly little idea popped in my head. I first thought of people shoveling a river, but that wasn't funny enough, then I thought of using hand saws, finally I thought to myself "What's the most pointless way of separating two land masses?"

I understand.
Actually, I was wondering what kind of response I would get from my speed-reading comment.

How long does it take?
I order directly for LSC, at least a week ago. I could have driven to the office and back in half that time. Just what does UPS stand for. U Poor Sucker?

Take this as a good sign. If I didn't care, I wouldn't be complaining about my delay in to the realm of information carnivores.

Thanks Dana. Did that, and then onto America Media Partners. They say another week maybe 10 more days. Geeee willikers. I don't know about you but our public mail service is better than that. I'd have to think the US mail service is close to the same. 14 - 21 days to mail a package not even halfway across the continent. I know there's customs, but I'd think 2 days is enough. Ummmm, thinking I've order from the states before and it waaaaas faster. The duty was paid right at the post office, no real extra delay.

Oh well, here's hoping the delivery service will be nice to me soon.

The drug-sniffing dog in customs must have sensed something very important in that package. Maybe you ordered the sausage-flavored version of Photoreading.
