When I heard photoreading clocked at 25k I was astounded (and disbelieving) now I am a believer, but now I hear a company brag about speeds 5 times faster and holding the world record?
http://www.speedread.co.za/ewrd/media_releases.cfm

someone tell me this is a hoax pleaase =) or else just the photo reading system copied!

Thanks,
Justin

After reading that article i am not a bit impressed....although 100,000 wpm is a fast speed for most people, its not that fast if you think about how fast the unconcious mind works.

I'm never the one who brags but I've been using photoreading for 6 months now and I know i can AT LEAST double the guy's speed and match his comprehension. During my brief absence (from this board) I've gotten really good with the activation techniques.

Elmo,
Could you tell me how you improved your activation? Were you using the system all the time or you developed/learned some new methods? What are your experiences now?

I would really like to hear from you on this.

There's another 'PhotoReading' type program that produces speeds surpassing the supposed former record of 75,000 wpm. I went to the Guinness world records website, but couldn't find any records for reading speeds, so I e-mailed them, and they told me they didn't have a record. I think with so many people starting to PhotoRead the records are being constantly broken, so maybe they've just decided not to have a reading record.
