The steps become second-nature pretty quickly, as least they did for me. I put PhotoReading to work right away, after taking the seminar with Paul Scheele in Jan.1992. Within a couple of weeks, I had a really good handle on it.
If the information is new to me, or when there's alot of detail, I follow the written steps, absolutely.

You may need to catch up on sleep, or try a different time of day to activate. Also, drink plenty of fresh water before you PhotoRead. Hydrate your brain!
