The Star of Wonder exercise is part of the Home study course...it comes up on tape 2 side A. It shows you that reading and comprehension happens behind your eyes, in your mind, and if you try to just rely on your eyes, then you experience something called "brain lock". I know that this probably doesn't help answer your question, but I think it's best if someone like Dana or someone else from LSC explained it, or you got the course.
