That sounds familiar.
I only have the photoreading book from the library with the course on order and I was doing the same thing for the first week.(I only did the Einstein icons reading method...)
When I read more closely, it said to focus above and behind the book which I was doing. Then it said to move your focus down to look through the center of the book. When I did this, then I got the blip page clearly. The way I understand it is that you need to look through the center of the book, diverging your eyes. If I am wrong, please let me know.
The difficulty I am having is in keeping the divergence. As I turn the page, my eyes are distracted by the motion and often try to refocus on the new page. I can sometimes get a few pages before this happens...
Any suggestions on how to keep the Photofocus for longer periods of time, or does it just require more practice and training of the eyes?
BTW: I am using this for technical manuals, like GSM and C programming, as well as personal development books. My expectation is that my mind can take care of all the details, no matter what I am reading!
