Pete mentioned in a posting that a man used the Memory Supercharger paraliminal 24 hours a day for 3 months and as a result, attained a perfect photographic memory.

What if... What if this tactic were applied to other tapes? What about listening to Personal Genius every waking hour or so for three months? What would happen to IQ? What would happen to the imagination? To ease of learning? Einstein here we come?

Or how about with the Instantaneous Personal Magnetism tape.. an instant hit with the ladies after repeated listenings?

What else is known about the power of repeated listenings? Does anybody have any such hardcore experiences to share? The concept is oddly exciting.

Brian

An excellent question. For one, how can you maintain a meditative stage for 16 hours a day. And if you played it during your sleep, you'd be waking up every 15 minutes from Paul Scheele counting upward.

Perhaps, then, the man put the cassette in a walkman with continuous play and listened passively throughout the day, no matter what state of mind... (?)

If that would work, it would be a possibily good idea to (if you have the equipment) implant Paraliminal(s) of choice subliminally with the music of your choice as a background, then burn it onto a cd and listen as often as you can

Thats happened to me twice. I try to play one on the morning upon waking. I'm truly not a morning person, and on two seperate occasions I've drifted into a five minute sleep to be awoken by pauls voice, not sure if id would wake a deep sleep though? I thought about setting a tape deck to endless repeate, and trying to sleep with the earphones out to get 6-8 hour exposure, at 20 minutes per tape (est) thats 3 per hour

I like your attitude! You've got my mind thinking of possibilities here.
The wheels in the head are turning…

Okay,
CD burning or tape dubbing--here's what I'm thinking:

1. Remove the induction, (Or make it track 1)
2. Copy the meat, (Or make it track 2)
3. Remove the awakening, (Or make it track 3)

4. THEN, put it on perpetual repeat for sleeping.

That would shorten the time of the tape by what... a third?
--you’d get at least 33% more listenings
--you’d remove the danger of waking up every 15 minutes

How would this affect your sleeping pattern? Wouldn't this be overkill on the brain as it tries to get a peaceful nights sleep??

Actually, I don't even know if it will have ANY effect during sleep or during daily activity--but the possability is there.

Though, I have heard that when learning a new skill (in the traditional manner), it is best to practice a little each day. I remember a study done on typing with two groups each practicing for different lengths each day. I don't remember the numbers--something like,

"Practiced 4 hours per day for 2 weeks"
vs.
"Practiced 1 hour per day for 4 weeks"

In that time, both attained the same level of skill-- BUT, it was 56 hours vs. 28 hours --or something like that. Though the second group took an extra two weeks, they put in half the hours.

Point was: it was better to break it up than to go all out.

I sampled the meat of the Personal Genius paraliminal--the paraliminal session begginning with "your personal genius, now coming through".

It's 3 min 20 sec long, so, with 8 hours sleep, that would be... 144 listenings per night. :-) *broad grin*

I also piped in a tone and some waves from the Brainwave Generator shareware program. I thought a 3hz binaural beat would keep me alseep even with all the talking.

Effects noticed after one day?
Sure I could say I've been in flow all day--and I have. But an actual quantitative measure: I work in the library, I normally take 60 minutes to organize a full cart. Tonight, I cut that time in half to 30min/cart by spontaneously using a new strategy of sorting...without even trying to. The strategy just came to me. I've been working there a few weeks and now I'm sorting much faster than people who have worked there for over a year!

Now I have three books to read and a 10 page paper due in less than 48 hours... Paul Scheele, do your stuff!!!! :-)
