Actually, I don't even know if it will have ANY effect during sleep or during daily activity--but the possability is there.

Though, I have heard that when learning a new skill (in the traditional manner), it is best to practice a little each day. I remember a study done on typing with two groups each practicing for different lengths each day. I don't remember the numbers--something like,

"Practiced 4 hours per day for 2 weeks"
vs.
"Practiced 1 hour per day for 4 weeks"

In that time, both attained the same level of skill-- BUT, it was 56 hours vs. 28 hours --or something like that. Though the second group took an extra two weeks, they put in half the hours.

Point was: it was better to break it up than to go all out.
