I started PR a week ago, reading a book a day, and I have some questions about it:
1) How many days does it take to PR with quality?

2) How do I know that I have established the relaxed state of atention?

3) If I donīt like the subject very much but I have to understand it, how do I do?

4) Works better if I PR the same book several times, one after another? sometimes I have the felling that the PR didnīt worked very well, so I do several times, again and again.

Is very soon to ask this kind of questions? Must I PR more books to get better? How many? For how long?

I would be thankfull for any repply for any question. Sorry for the bad english.
Thanks

Hi Brazialian Reader. I have been PhotoReading for about a month now so I do not claim to be anywhere near a proficient photoreader yet but I think I might be able to shed some light on things for you.
1) I have found that it took me about 2-3 weeks before I felt that I was truely getting some results with PR.
2) I can't help you here except to say you will feel relaxed, you will notice that many other things can come into focus and other things seem to be "fog" outside of your focus (my dog jumped in my lap to get my attention because I just didn't notice him before that).
3) Set yourself up with some good goals/mind probing questions. One that I used was how can this actually help me or can this topic be related to another topic that does seem to have more interest to me?
4) I think the best thing is to PR a book a day, but take time to Activate each of those books. The PR step goes by quickly, it's the activation step that you should concentrate on perfecting. That seems to be the major thrust of previous posts that I have seen on this topic. I will activate a book in 3-4 30-45 minute sessions and after that time I just start to get the idea that I understand the book. It's starting to gel sooner for me in the process, but it does take time.
I think PR more books will help, but work on that activation step, that seems to be the key. Let us know how you are doing!

- Steve
